Met a very nice woman on our newest trail about a week ago. She was stopped, taking pictures when I rode by on my Nimbus 29”. She yelled for me to stop. She introduced herself and told me she is the executive director of our city trail system.
She requested an interview which I was happy to provide. We had a good visit. I learned quite a bit about the organization (I joined when I returned home). I shared that I was 67 and had started when I was 64.
Today she emailed me and told me her 64 year old sister had bought a unicycle and was beginning her journey.
Today one of my daughters sent me a short tic-tok she’d put up of part of the interview.
Who knows maybe I’ll be a trendsetter in my city.
