| Latin American Unicycle Championship and Convention |

The Latin American Unicycle Championship and Convention (LAUCC 2012) will take place in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador from February 24-26, 2012. Over the years this event has gathered the best unicyclists from Latin America to grow the sport and inspire more people to ride.
We hope that this is the best time for the event and we'll be able to improve on our past experiences. We're committed to making the event the best it can be.
You can't miss this third edition, which will be loaded with some surprises, international first-class awards and a cozy place in a beautiful city in Latin America.
I want to thank, in a very special way, Olarf Schlote for his unconditional help in organizing this event.

| "Ride the Raccoon" Southeast Munifest, May 19-20, 2012 |

This is a new event to celebrate the incredible riding opprtunities in the Southeastern United States.
Planning for the event is still in the early stages, but a website is now available for event details:

Ride the Raccoon Muni Fest, May 19-20, 2012.
Festival to be held on the 20 mile + trail system at Raccoon Mountain. This unique venue was built by volunteers from the Chattanooga chapter of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA), in conjunction with the the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Outdoor Chattanooga and the National Park Service Rivers Trails and Conservation Assistance (RTCA) office.
Tentative schedule of events:
•Downhill/Freeride Challenge (Megawatt)
•Trials Competition (Chunky)
•XC Trail Ride (Laurel Point)
•Time Trial Road Ride (Resevoir Loop Road)
Event Format:
•No fee for attendance
•All riders are expected to be self supported
•Insurance coverage TBD, participation may require USA membership.
•Food and snacks will be potluck style, no alcohol or illegal substances please, as this is a Federal facility and consequences for possession are quite serious.
•White elephant gift exchange: So much fun!
Raccoon Mountain is conveniently located just fifteen minutes West of Chattanooga. The city of Chattanooga offers a multitude of lodging options and is a great place to shop or enjoy a good meal. For the more adventurous and thrifty, camping is available less then ten miles from the event area at Raccoon Mountain Campground.

A weekend of unicycling for all levels and ages of riders. Featuring the British Unicycle championships in Trials, street, Freestyle and hockey. There will be space and time for workshops and fun games,levels tests, messing about on one wheel and learning new skills. We are booking an indoor skatepark for exclusive unicycle use on Saturday evening.All riders registering for BUC18 will be registered as members of the Union of UK Unicyclists.
The site has one sports hall for unicycling use all weekend and a second sports hall we will have for some sessions, there is outdoor but undercover riding space as well as outdoor smooth tarmac areas. There is camping space,car parking and some hard-standing for camper vans. Catering is planned for Saturday breakfast to Sunday Lunch. We will be on the edge of the Dartmoor National park with easy access to a traffic free cycle trail and bridleways on the moor for Cross country Muni riding.
