Here you go then - was tempted to repost my rolling mount (as I know NWM can't do one of those ), but I'm a lot better at that now than I was then, and anyway I find this one harder.

Yeah, it's not really allowed to use previously posted videos. I didn't challenge NWM, but let's keep to the rules guys. Here is my Side mount. Not my smoothest, but oh well.. it should suffice.

Is it right that I can join in this round if I start off with an OU?

Yes, you can join now and would start with an OU. The current trick is due by the end of Wednesday.

Awesome, thanks. I really am a SUPER beginner. Haven't touched a uni for five years, except for one day three years ago, before today and then had only learned basic riding skills.

Been doing this all afternoon and nearly got it. Managed it twice so far. Will keep going and try to get it more often than not before filming. Cheers

Wait so if I wanted to do the wheel walking video I'd have to record a new one even though I already did it? Seems like a waste of filming to me...

- that is the whole point of these threads isn't it? Thought I'd put up something a bit easier that more people might be able to get (that and I'm also a SUPER beginner, so don't have many tricks myself).

NWM - I don't see a problem with your video. I think there would be more of an issue if I'd posted my rolling mount one, as that's already been posted on this thread

In a real OUT game, we would all be together in the same parking lot doing tricks live. You wouldn't be able to get a free pass on a round just because you did a trick last week. You would have to do the trick again. Part of the purpose of this game is to learn new tricks and challenge yourself. Another reason is to "force" yourself to get out and ride. If all we did was post old videos of ourselves, then that wouldn't be much of a competition, would it?

Anyway, I just wanted to explain the reasoning behind the rule. We already accepted your wheel walking video so don't worry about it.

well it think the point is kinda to learn new tricks not post a new video of something you already have done....

but does that not raise the question... if you can already do a lot of these tricks, enough to have previous footage even, then are you really a super beginner and it is fair to be playing a super beginner game?

Plus MadFuria is right, we are trying to play an OUT game, the only way that can be done over the internet is by setting challenges that can only be viewed by video. If you were playing with mates, regardless of how many times you had seen them do a trick before you would expect them to do it again in front of you. Part of the game is seeing that you can do it every time or in enough time/attempts. For example, your old vid could have been a lucky fluke.... (unlikely but you never know...)
