Well Max may have forced my hand on this one, but yes, go ahead and add Kyle DeMilner (Parsippany, NJ) to the list. Looking forward to seeing some RTLers again.

Anyone have a loaner Muni for a mostly beginner? I'ld love to join you guys as I don't have to be to work until 1:30 and I'm like 5 miles from the park. But I've only got that 20" Torker and the 24" Sun(not exactly trail worthy). If not, Liz and I will at least swing by to check it out.

LAST MINUTE INVITE: NYC, MA (MtnUni guys)- Cap City Muni Race Albany

Here's a special, personal invite to the
2nd Annual Cap City Muni Race

Beginner and Advanced categories.

Last minute invite: NYC, MA (MtnUni guys)
Y'all ought to come to this race. It's on a super fun muni track, with plenty of technical bits to challenge you, but often with bail-out paths around, for newer riders. This is going to be an bonafied muni race just a little ways from you! Ya gotta!

First, to the NYC Unicycle Club - this race is easy to get to from NYC: only 2:30 from the GW, literally right off the highway in Schenectady. Why don't we have half the club signed up for this?? There are dudes coming from New Jersey, and freakin' Maine!

What about you MtnUni dudes out there in MA? Probably under 3 hours for you, even if you're in Boston!

Saturday Events

Hi, On Saturday we'll have a fun-ride at some local trails and then dinner at my house.

Fun ride at 4pm, meet at Guilderland Elementary School, back of the parking lot. (2225 Western Avenue, Guilderland, NY).

Dinner at 6pm at my house (3 Warren St, Albany, 12203).

Please let me know if you're coming for dinner so we can cook the right amount of food.

We had a great race today, had 9 'racers' and another few 'fun riders'. The trails were a bit slick, but everyone managed to get around without killing themselves. Full results for the 2hr race are posted here. We also had a fun trail ride Saturday afternoon, and some bonus trials riding after dinner at my house.

Huge thanks to Heather Rizzi for helping us put this race on, and to all the racers to traveled from around the region to join both this race.

No video from me this year. Recalling how much time editing takes, I decided not to. There were a handful of cameras around though.

Here's a group pic from the fun ride:

I think the "non-racer" guy's name is Jeff.

Congrats to all the racers, that's a HARD track.

Thanks to Heather Rizzi, for her professional job running the race, and Roland and Judy Kays for their wonderful party.
