I'm about 6' 2", just under 12st (something like 165 lbs), 26x3 for general muni (with 150s)

5'8" 155lbs 26x3.0 145mm
I haven't tried a different tire size but now I'm tempted to get a 2.5". I only recently experimented with different crank sizes on my muni. Last week I tried 125mm and was surprised I was able to climb as well as I did on 165mm but my downhill speed suffered because of the lack of control. Yesterday I tried 145mm and it found it to be the sweet spot for me. Plenty of control and not a lot of needless foot movement which I think was tiring me out. |
