New style bumper with old style carbon fiber base

Am I alone in this situation? I have a carbon fiber based drilled with the holes of the old style bumper, a new style bumper doesn't fit on those.

I guess it will force people like me to invest 100-150$ more on their unicycle when there will be no more old style bumper on the market. :\

Just drill a second set of holes. Even if it is weaker and breaks faster you were going to buy another base anyway...

Edit: you can even secure your bolts in oval holes if you have to.

Or you can hoard up some old-style bumpers. I've ended up with a small pile of old Miyata seat parts & bumpers now...
