KH moment cranks

Has anyone tried to lighten these up by milling them at all? Whether it be half way or all the way through...? If you did, Did the cranks seem less sturdy?

A few people have milled and/or drilled out Moment cranks to lighten them up. I have a pair of 150/125s that were milled and they feel as sturdy as ever.

Not sure if anyone has broken even lightened moments yet.

How much do you weigh ?

KH moments are a one size fits all crank. A tank crank, 200 lb + riders hop on them all the time will no trouble. If you are 200 + lbs and a big hopper, maybe call good enough and leave it alone. If you are much lighter and weight is real important to you, I assume they can be drilled to shave weight safely. I don't recall any posts about riders doing this, and it will surely void the excellent KH warranty, because a drilled crank is your call. Personally, I would just buy a lighter crank, there are other lighter (weaker and less $) cranks out there.
