Maxwhip Questions...

Hello Everyone,

I just have some questions and theories about the Maxwhip.

Does anyone know how long it took Max/Adrien to learn it?

Does Max still claim Adrien's different-ish Maxwhip to be his trick even though Adrien did it differently?

I'm sure I heard many people say that Adrien's whip had a flip in it but I examined Max's and his has a backflip in it.

I am ditching all the tech flips this year and focussing on going bigger with grinds, rolling hops, skinnies and bigger tricks like a Maxwhip.

I have no idea, but I'm guessing its the kind of trick that when you finally get the technique, you'll land it pretty fast. Otherwise you could be more like me and have been trying this trick for the past 3 years but never really committed to trying hard enough.

Max hasn't claimed anything. It is basically the same trick but done differently. The frames spins a different way, I think thats a notable difference. I don't care about the seat out and prehop stuff or the crankflip.

Max did it with a half crankflip in it.

Yeah, Max's seat was pretty low

Props to him for thinking of trying that before anyone else did, though, ahaha.

Yeah, I've put my seat down fairly low as well. You should try it off an obstacle as well as flat. I find it helps to whip it off an obstacle because than you don't need to jump that high.

I think I'll do it on flat. I don't want to increase my risk of injury

I can get it around like 5/10 times, and like 2-3/10 times get a foot on.
