error here, in Edinburgh 98 at the European Juggling convention almost 2000
jugglers kept 3 objects in the air.. a new worlds record. blasting the glasto
one out of thewater

Found these pages thru the year on my desk calendar.

MAY 7 FASTEST 100 MILES ON A UNICYCLE Takayuki Koike of Kanagawa, Japan,
set the record for the fastest 100 miles on a unicycle at 6 hours 44
minutes 21.84 seconds on August 9, 1987 (average speed 14.83 mph).

May 17 MOST PLATES SPUN AT ONCE The greatest number of plates spun
simultaneously is 108, by Dave Spathaky of London, England, for the Tarm
Pai Du television program in Thailand on November 23, 1992.

December 9 LARGEST CIRCUS TENT The traveling circus tent of Ringling
Bros. and Barnum & Bailey, used on tours in the United States from 1921
to 1924, covered 91,415 square feet. It consisted of a round top 200
feet in diameter with five middle section, each 60 feet wide.

December 16 BIGGEST SPINNING TOP a team of 25 from the Mizushima Plant
of Kawasaki Steel Works in Okayama, Japan, spun a giant top, 6 feet 6.75
inches tall, 8 feet 6.25 inches in diameter, weighing 793.6 pounds for 1
hour 21 minutes 35 seconds on November 3, 1986.
