I got it 2 days ago; I've barely left the room.

I was a little anxious as the original Starcraft is my favourite game, ever, but so far it's incredible! It's such a great game!

I've gone through a free 7 hour trial account and now I've been using my mates account haha. Can't wait to get my own. We should have some matches together bro . I too was anxious, being a huge SC fan. Like they say: "don't fix what isn't broken." But SC2 is a vaaaaaaast improvement. I love all the extra shit outside the gameplay aswell. Well done Blizzard.

I've been playing SC2 for almost a year now. If you emailed Blizzard in the past year you could request a free beta copy. It's a good waste of time until Diablo3 comes out.

I've been playing on one of those guest accounts, because I ran out of money before it came out. I'll nab one of those 7 hour trials to give you a few matches :P

I picked it up at the midnight opening. Played through the campain but haven't touched bnet yet. I liked it, it was fun. I'll probably start to play a few games here and there online now. It feels weird because I haven't played any video game steady for a really long time.

I went straight to b.net because I didn't wanna play on my mates single player.

Lost my first game because I played through really slowly, read all the new abilities. Had to come to grips with Hydras being classed as a advanced unit... Then got owned by siege tanks backed up by marines with medic ships.... Queens are very interesting, can't wait to get more comfortable with the game to utilize Queens better. Roaches are a great addition to zerg... I'm gonna miss Lurkers though ...

i bought the game, installed it and never played it in bnet...because i know i only get killed(by the first rush) because im used to very much slower strategy games.

SC requires a very very very fast pace thinker. Its the ultimate strategy game. Thats what I love about it. When you get to a certain level, people that watch you have an impossible time of understanding what your doing. They'll probably say, wtf are you doing, your all over the place!?. Which is what you want. Most people that watch me, say it hurts their eyes.

I can't get into to starcraft, no one is helpful, atleast in Brood War (When I tried it) where I'd join a game get stomped and instead of tips I get "no0b lrn2ply go bck2CoD".

Though, I hate call of duty, and everyone seems to have the mentality of "try-hard or go home." in both Starcraft and Call of Duty, but Starcraft I would actually be fun.

Just too much to learn to even win 1/20 games without being carried by someone else.

I'm with Plainodd - for one, it's just Starcraft. A 1995 game engine with 2002 graphics, basically. What's good about it is the gameplay and content - but I'm turned off by the sheer amount of fanboyism and ridiculously high standards of gaming. It's just way too hard to get into the multiplayer and you basically can't do it casually.
