I will set tomorrow. I dont have any more time to ride today. It's going to be a mean trick. But I'm also going to be OUT after it's set

It's not exactly what I wanted to set, but I have no more time for filming, the time I have left is only for riding! It's a 80cm sidehop to skinny, the skinny must not be more than 8cm wide. (My mesuring starts at 7cm in the video, I thought I had it on camera
)Trick 1: Up-gap. 67 cm up, 110 cm gap. Set by julle95. Trick 2: 1 rev backward, turnaround, 6 second stillstand on round skinny 27 inches high, set by Derek. Trick 3: upgap 90cm high and 95cm across, prehop allowed set by Ali Trick 4: 80cm sidehop to 8cm(or less) wide skinny set by Jakob F. O U _ Jakob F. (set) O _ _ Ali* O U _ julle95* O _ _ Derek* |

I would love to get to the point where I can static hop to the back of a park bench. That's an impressive trials line. For now, I have to settle for pedal grabbing it.
Either Derek or Ali sets next, whoever can do it first. Trick 1: Up-gap. 67 cm up, 110 cm gap. Set by julle95. Trick 2: 1 rev backward, turnaround, 6 second stillstand on round skinny 27 inches high, set by Derek. Trick 3: upgap 90cm high and 95cm across, prehop allowed set by Ali Trick 4: 80cm sidehop to 8cm(or less) wide skinny set by Jakob F. Trick 5: Will be set soon by Derek or Ali O U _ Jakob F.* O U _ Ali* O U _ Derek* O U T julle95* Last edited by tmoyer; 2011-09-30 at 02:54 PM. |

5: ride up to ~79cm object, static up, no setup hops allowed(though i don't care if you use them to get down after youve established control after hopping up)

I'm OUT for medical reasons! I can't ride for a while because of my surgery. I love doing clean hops though that's too bad I can do it

![]() ![]() Now I'm going to have to go out and practice. No - my record is 0:50. It seems like if I can go that long, then I ought to be able to do it pretty much forever, but somehow it doesn't seem to work that way. I've been off the uni for two weeks. I'm ready to get back on it now and stillstanding sounds like a great thing to work on today. I'll let you know if I miraculously get 7:48. |

GUYS I JUST LANDED A 1:10 STILLSTAND!
![]() Ok - it's no 7:48, but I'm still very happy with it. New record for me by a big margin. I'm up to triple digits. Derek - I'm working on something I learned from watching you. When I'm all the way over to one side, I'm trying to drop my hand to my knee. When I do that, I seem to relax and come back up with more control. Last edited by tmoyer; 2011-10-01 at 10:55 PM. |
