Backwards MUni
So here's the idea. You turn your seat around and do all the trails and stunts . . . backwards.
This has to be WAYYY harder than regular muni, for those of you who claim that muni riders aren't pushing the envelope anymore. Discuss. *I'm expecting some video posts in the near future* |

Why turn your seat around?
We ride backwards without turning the seat around.

I agree with thenoli, if you try this you should turn your seat around. Occasionally when I'm muniing I will try to ride down a single hill backwards but I've never tried to ride that way the whole time. |

But if your trails are boring/easy, go ahead and try it.

I've been walking my dog while riding backwards for a while now. Some of it has been off-road, but you can't really expect anything too extreme

And no, i'm not kidding anyone. I think today's riders are totally capable of it, so i wanna see it done. Am i alone? Once i get a little more comfortable with backwards riding, i'm going to try it myself. Somebody better beat me to a video post. Last edited by thenoli; 2009-10-11 at 12:51 PM. |

My friend and I muni a lot together only problem being he's a lot better than me. So while hes waiting for me to tackle something or catch up he'l challenge himself by riding the same section backwards, onefooted etc. Ive often joked that i'l be responsible for his fame as the worlds best backwards riding muniist. Bottom line is backwards muniing is alive and well.
