Back in the Saddle Again
Well it's been over 20 years since I've ridden, but I bought myself a Torker LX yesterday and found it's like riding a bike, you never forget; although a little wobbley. I heard it would be good balance training and exercise for riding a horse (another new hobby).
Funniest thing is when I brought it in the house and my 6 yr old ran through the house yelling "Daddy got a one wheeler". The neighborhood kids thought it was pretty cool and I overheard one say "I can't wait to see him fall". Sorry kid, keep waiting. LOL |

I also returned after a 20+ year layoff and I found that I Did have to relearn. Congrats on it coming back so fast for you. It's good balance for everything. I tried to convince my step-son who was the high school snowboard champ for California and Nevada last year to learn to ride, but I guess it wasn't cool enough for him and he declined. I will also mention that after 10 years of chronic back pain, riding again has made that pain all but disappear.
