The Filmer's Discussion thread is (presumably) about how to film people riding unicycles, hence its relevance. But I can see how a new member could make that mistake.

My company has a Canon HD camera, one that records onto a hard disk. The downside of this camera has been that few software programs can work with the files directly out of the camera. This may only be an issue for us Mac users though. The camera only comes with video software for the PC. But now I have iMovie '09 and it works fine.
