So am I! I noticed that just after I posted. I think I commented on my fixed speed way back in this thread - I admit it was certainly a rare, scary and never-repeated peak, although I don't doubt the measurement. A repeatable ungeared peak speed for me was more like 22-23mph, similar to others in the list.

It is way more comfortable to go at 20mph+, and certainly 23+, on a geared uni than ungeared.

cool scott, you are insane!

what crank length are you using?

Boy...i'm feeling out of shape. My last little muni ride last weekend really wore me out. I haven't been riding and training nearly enough!

Nothing to write home about, but it is a new best for me (at least a best that can be verified by cycle computer): 18.2 mph. This was going down hill on wet ground, it was a little scary!

Awesome Scott, now go for 34 mph!

However, because the conditions were so perfect, I felt more in control than when I hit 29.5mph. See my previous post for the accuracy of the speedo, I'm pretty confident in it. Also, my dad was riding next to me on his bike and he confirmed that I definitely hit over 30mph.

Awsome riding! I think you all should include dates in the list for when the records were set.
