What features do you look for in a camcorder?

Size is not an issue, and I want to start working with video on the computer.

What features would you look for in a camcorder?

Does anyone have preferences for DVTs DVDs or others?

Memory sticks?

Thanks!

Billy

You know that whichever one you pick out, it's going to be an atheist.

Also, size does matter. And if your memory sticks, you should lubricate it.

Does this help?

MiniDV format. Long battery life. HD recording (1080, but 720 is good too), or 3CCD. Somewhat small.

framerate, always need minimum 100,000 fps. I favour the Phantom v7.3.

Really?! MiniDV? You find fewer and fewer.

Why do you recommend it?

I never thought about frame rate!!

Thanks everyone, even the clowns who posted!!
