Going blind for the week

Well I was inspired by that video of the blind bike trials rider Miles posted in RSU and have decided to go blind for the next week starting tomorrow morning. I will be putting out daily videos at the beginning and end of each day for the next week documenting my experiences. Here's the first of them just talking about what I plan to do.

Enjoy! I hope you follow my journey and are inspired to try something similar.

So, are you going to stay away from MR for a week?

Oh and... just wondering...
What have your teachers and friends told you about that?

And, I wish you luck! =)

I'm subscribing to your channel. This is gonna be entertaining! I may try something similar for 1-3 days. I have already tried unicycling blinfolded. It's not as hard as it may seem.

the unicycling isn't the part that's going to be hard it's going to be the fact that I'm going to be super used to doing everything with sight and I'll have to ask for a lot of help with school work and stuff.

EDIT: Uploading Videos may become a problem as well haha I didn't think about that until now. I'll just have family help me upload and record I guess.

Yeah what will you do for schoolwork? Have a friend write it for you every day? And when do you officially go blind?

I officially go blind tomorrow morning, and I'll be having friends help me by reading it to me and I'll just type it all up or just do it verbally by talking the assignment over with the teacher.

gah, just talked to my boss. I can't be blind at work and I need the money so i can't take the week off which means I wont be blind for the entire time. (about 5 or so hours a day I'll be able to see) I'll still do everything else blind I just need the money and stuff. I'll re-attempt being fully blind on a day when I am able to take a few days off work.

That sucks. I think that ruins much of the fun and excitement in it. Normally, I would think that it would be fun at the end of the week when you see light again. Where do you work?

I work at Serious Juggling. I'd feel really bad backing out of the whole experiment now since I've already told so many people about it(including all my teachers haha) and made a video, so I'm going to do a partial blindness week instead haha I'll be blind at all times except work. It should still be pretty interesting to do and I'll do it again sometime for sure with full on blindness. I need the money though so I haven't got many options.
