I feel that people are deliberately not describing the rope trick to us. I call shenanigans on this whole thread.

The rope trick = a man with a rope and a unicycle. When they come together something magical happens.

not to bash anything, good job with whatever the hell your going off on, but i'm pretty sure no one these days except freestylers care about the fricken levels anymore. Seriously, i used to imagin how cool it'd be to become a level 7 or higher rider or something, but theres no point. All its saying is that youve got too much time on your hands, or your wasting effort to have a number assigned to yourself, and when in the real world of some other comp like street or trials, you would not be able to do anything. (not saying that street or trials riders cant be high in levels, or a person high in levels cant be a good street or trials rider, just it doesnt matter much)

idk. No offence, but i could care less for levels.

and i think "the rope trick" may be slacklining on a unicycle, or riding a rope with your tire on.

I love this post so much is hurts... The "real world" of street and trials riding? What about freestyle competitions, seems that leveling up certainly would help with those, eh? Freestyle comps have been around a lot longer than street and trials comps. "Wasting time" learning freestyle skills instead of practicing trials and street? What? Man, they shouldn't even make freestyle unicycles anymore. What a waste of time and materials.

Maybe this thread is FOR freestylers? They are unicyclists too, ya know!

Last nights practice was too busy for us to film the rope trick. We will film the trick on Tuesday nights practice where it will be quieter and less children to injure.

If you are that bothered and think it is that useless then why bother posting. In my opinion your comments are useless.

Whatev.

I mean, for a total beginner, its somewhere to start, but once you get progressively better, you should know what you want to learn, and can learn those without having the skill guidelines

(all of what ive been saying here isnt to be attacking, if you knew me in person, you'd understand what kind of humor i have, and how i act)

less children to injure. less children to injure.

Of course. I believe the rule is you really should not inure more than 5 to 10 children per trick.

If more than 10 children are present and in danger of injury, you should not do the trick.

Can someone check that for me?

My friend was practicing the rope trick at our juggling club the other day. They kicked him out after he broke his third window.

And they decide to learn freestyle. And you just said the end of your rant. Guidelines.

I dont get why so many people think the levels are some type of god rule. "Oh mighty levels! I shall only follow your levels, I will never practice or do anything else. You are my master, my commander. I am you slave your follower. Let me learn your ways.."

Its funny you say they are for beginners, when if you see someone who is a lvl 10 rider, he/she will destroy you so easily when unicycling. And because he/she actually understands the levels, they will bust out something that will just leave you standing there with your crankflips.

Please take your skater theology elsewhere.
