Fancy Dress Party - 80s Theme

Well, as the title states...
I have a 80s party coming up...
So far my only ideas are to look for old school clothes in op shops, or to go as Super Mario.
Can any of the 'mature' members of this forum please let me know exactly what the fashion sense was back then? I have used google but it didnt really give me what i wanted...
Pictures would be fantastic!
Also, other ideas welcome
Thanks
J

http://www.liketotally80s.com/80s-party-idea.html might be a good start....

Miami Vice and Flock of Seagulls comes to mind, as does Fast Times at Ridgmont High....lots of good ideas there...just google some images....

Vaurnet Sunglasses, Members Only Jackets....I bet MuniAddict might have a few remnantsw sitting around in his closet....(I refuse to look.....)

Sounds like fun....find an old Walkman (cassette player)
