an interesting idea from watching Tom Green clips...
Yeah, as the titles states, as I was watching Tom Green clips, an idea bonged me on the head, and I want to run this past you guys and gals to see what you think of it.
My walls in my room are bare. Same boring off-white day in and day out. My idea is to gather as many post cards as possible to decorate one wall. Now, these won't be post cards that i've gone out and bought, oh no. If I am doing something this odd, might as well go balls to the wall crazy with it. I want to get my address out there and see how far it will reach post card wise. I want to get post cards from around the world and display them on my wall. I think this idea would be totally awesome, not to mention the 11 yr old in the house would get a huge kick out of it. What do you guys and gals think? Make a short youtube request for people to send me post cards from around the world? Start here and see how far it blooms? I just want enough post cards to fill one wall. If it goes past the one wall, then awesome. But no matter how many I get, 7 - 7000000, they will all remain in my room. If you guys and gals want to start it, let me know and I will post my address here for you to send me post cards. Feel free to share it with friends and family. THe more the merrier for this project. Also, it will actually give you a reason to buy those silly things other than to go in some photo album that you will forget about in a couple of months, only to have your kids/grand kids find it and all the embarrassment starts again!!!

I hope you use a P.O box and not your home address.

The way things are in today's world, you could end up with a bunch of post cards not suitable for an 11-year-old.
I agree with the previous post about using a post office box.

OK, I will get myself a PO box. Looking here on the internet, for 6 months I can have one for $35...not too bad! So look for this thread to be at the top hopefully by the end of this week, and start sending those cards. I am really excited to see how this will turn out. And who knows? At the end of those 6 months, I may keep the box open and continue to see how many cards I can get!
And of course, once one wall gets full, a picture will be taken for all to see.
