#4. In a Unicyclist.community thread years ago, Bruce makes reference to an encounter with BillyTheMountain in the mens room at NAUCC/UNICON USA.

10 points to anyone who can find Bruce's reference.

If I could just be Janis Joplin for a day, I'd be a happy she-man!
While it was no a law, the NY State Liquor Authority made it a violation for bars to serve liquor to homosexuals. Mattachine, a 1966 civil disobedience wherein a group of gay men entered several W. Village bars with a written notice that they were gay and requesting service, led to the disbandment of that liquor code, and opened the gates for "gay bars."

Since the 1969 Stonewall Riots (began when police attacked gays in the gay bar named Stonewall, and the gays kicked ass) began in a gay bar, it would not have been possible without Mattachine.

Nevertheless, Rafael gets my nomination for prom queen!

Yeah, and I spelled Mattachine right, I can spell your name as well as my own.

As is often the case Billy, you distort. I'll take the 10 points and 5 extra for setting the record straight.

Nice job and thanks, R. Nice try, Billy. Young Billy's and my "encounter" was a brief coming and going conversation as I washed my hands at the sink after using the facilities while he looked into the mirror and applied sunscreen lotion to his face and arms. Twisting words is his second fascination (sorry, misspelled that word the first time).

10 points to anyone who can answer Raphael's question, and another 10 points to anyone who can trace (with url) the whole thread that Bruce's mens room reference comes from.

I thought it was sweet how catboy wrote it, a joke well beyond the pale for public consumption, so that it is free of epithets and vulgarity.

It's kind of revese apatovianism in which rather than wholesome morality being couched in gutter talk, vileness is couched in polite usage.

If you have to ask, the information is not likely to be of any use to you.
