This is actually a pipe cut at a 45 degree angle sandwiching to a 45 degree angle on the crown. And, you could end up almost using just one single peice of pipe for the frame, and just cut the pipe at a 45 degree angle, and weld it together liek that. I think it'd work like that.
So, the crown and forks are all one piece?

Does this allow for foot-on-frame-tricks like unislabs? I think it's essential that the frame stays a hybrid for a few different styles.

So is there no one else with any designs or input on the plans put forth?

Probably going to try and get ahold of the guy today so we can meet up sometime this week. I really want to have a good platform for when I lay this out to him, such as frame design, materials, and a ballpark estimate as to how many units should be produced in the first batch.

So everyone who is interested in a frame and/or seatpost please speak up!

I'm in for both the seatpost, and the frame. I'll also draw up some plans and send them to you somehow.

I'm in for both Ti, or Alum. of both the seatpost and frame.

Alright thanks for the quick response. I'll know later on this week when I talk to him whether or not we'll be using aluminum. I think it would be easier to make aluminum seatpost's but we may do ti seatposts, I'm not sure yet.

Keep the orders coming!

Unless there is going to be a substantially better design for aluminium parts than what's already selling, I do not really see a market for them .

The KH frame is only £100 / $200, that's way less than any custom frame with machined bearing holders is going to cost.

I would be very keen on purchasing a seatpost, either Ti or aluminium. I have a feeling KH will be bringing out a new post soon though, maybe in this coming month.

A few mentioned it before, Magnesium? Just a thought.

Also, are you considering making the seat tube size customizable? So that Si Trials, Sif trials, street, and flat riders can all be pleased on that aspect?

I fail to see the point in your statment. Your trying to defend the fact that the KH frame cost $200 because of it's machined bearing holders? If so, than you can just buy a nimbus II frame for substantially less. Or are you trying to say that the KH frame will be a better option that a titanium frame, because it costs "way less than any custom made frame with machined bearing holders".

The point I was making with the statment you quoted me on is that, for not much more, (hopfully) you can purchase a titanium frame. In my opinion the KH frames are overpriced.

I'm sorry, exactly what are you asking? When you say customizable are you speaking in terms of length or actual diameter (25.4,27.2)?

length... I am intrested in the frame (and if my post breaks the post) for May/June next year depending on cost (unless I get a Muni instead).

Also If you do a Mg frame make sure it is reinforced around the tube (a little more then your current plans)

I'd be interested in buying a Ti frame. Would there be a discount for first generation/test frames?

Not a bad idea. I'll let you know more on that subject once I talk with my guy about the frames.

If you can get a prototype made up and the welds look good I'll be in for at least two frame sizes if you do them (24 and 36) - as long as it's made with ti, but I think I said that already...
