What's the best seat for long distance road riding (obvs up for debate)? Currently tempted by the KH fusion but UDC UK are out of stock at the moment.
Your photos bring back memories for me. I used to live and work in Aberystwyth. Looks like your road-route took you to Devils Bridge from Aber? I wonder if you have managed to climb Constitution Hill yet!

Looks like there have been a lot of unicyclists in Aber, recently found out that the longest distance ridden and longest continuous ride world records were set here too. The route I took those photos on were via Devil's bridge, but then I went back via Ponterwyd. I've not yet ridden up Constitution hill, do you propose I try the road which appears to approach the top from the Borth side? Might be worth a go...

Hey Ben, I remember seeing a pic of you riding with some forum members last fall. We live in a beautiful state.
I suppose we'll get around to riding together sooner or later. I assume we're about 2hrs apart?

Hey Grizbach...
We are 2 plus hours away (three the way I drive/get lost!)
A couple local unicycle riders did a ride Sunday. Unseasonably warm, it was a fantastic ride. We chose a moderate route with some hills but all paved (including tree roots

Yes, awesome weather for December!
I did see your invite. It was too sudden to go.
With family life, It's pretty rare for me to be spontaneous.(wife tends to have plans for me).
I'm having fun on my 24" fatty. Looking forward to seeing how it handles the snow. (I need some exercise this winter)

Great outfit! The uni can even go with a steam punk theme, if that's what you're going for. The cellphone in your pocket takes away a bit though...

How much of that is your real hair?

I also wear jeans for almost all of my riding.

Personally I love the KH Fusion One for distance.

Somebody did suggest steampunk when I asked on here before the event, but in the end I decided it wasn't really worth the effort. I only realised the phone was that obvious seeing that pic, but then it could have been a cigarette case, and anyway a lot of the time I was wearing a long coat over the top.

It's all my own hair!

I love scrolling through all these pics! These are from our "business" trip to Oly., WA. (with the obligatory walking the dog photos.) Apparently there is a dog-walker in my niece and nephew's neighborhood (Glenmore Dr. SE) there that they kept telling me about, but unfortunately we never crossed paths. I got a Hatchet today (early Christmas/Birthday present for the next 5 years!--I have the nice lady in the photo to thank!) and I tried to save pics/vids to my SD card and now I can't see any of the files, so I can't share those, (and you'll probably won't here from me for a bit, because holy cow! I tried the 150 holes, then the 127s and took off! I was scared of the brake at first, but then, found it was no big deal.) So like i said, these aren't from my "latest ride" but hopefully I'll figure out the camera for some Hatchet "action" soon!

A week or so back now, but I got distracted and forgot about taking the pictures.. we got a few inches of snow and I hadn't tried the 26 in it yet, so I let the tire pressure down a bit and went for a few mile muni ride. Followed someone's fat bike tracks for a bit, as you can see. No problems with traction, but perhaps I let a bit too much air out because it sure was a lot more work than normal.

My first icy road ride. Surprisingly I did okay with no upsets but did miss the normal road/tire friction when twisting my upper body.
