Well, at least it's a name I won't be able to outgrow...unlike "Boy" George, or "Kid" Rock! I picked the name originally as kind of a tongue-in-cheek thing, based on younger riders jokingly referring to me as a "geezer" because of our age difference. It just seemed to be a catchy, unique name, so it looks like I'm stuck with it haha. But I'm happy with it, even though I don't really consider myself a "geezer", not by a long shot...yet!

Unicycling on Mt Taranaki

On Saturday I climbed Mt Taranaki and brought a unicycle with me. It was fun and Bevan took some photos...

That's a tiny unicycle you got there. Maybe a 24" would have been more fun.

Well when you next climb a mountain why don't you bring your 24"? My 24" got stolen in 2004 and now my 24" has a crap hub. I thought it was fun and it was more about being a Mountain Uni poser than riding for me. The cut-down 12" fitted inside my backpack!

That's the same size uni I had on the summit of Kilimanjaro, except my pics didn't come out.
And i didn't have to carry it myself.

These are from a few rides I did recently, training for the big one!
There's a small writeup on my blog if you're curious!

that's a jump mount. Suicide mounts are done without holding the unicycle.
