I'm a Prairie Roamin' Sod Buster from Kansas and I honestly see no issue with tattoo's themselves. Some Prairie Roamin' Sod Busters do and some don't. I'm not trying to turn this into a "sod-buster" (or whatever) thread, but I want to point out some Prairie Roamin' Sod Busters are pretty hardcore about tattoo's. Don't look at any of the hardcore (Prairie Roamin' Sod Buster) metal bands because there aren't any and I just like to make disconnected comments.

Just thought I'd point that out. Do I get some attention, now?

Only if you have a cool tattoo to back it up

Too bad I could care less about attention and more about getting a balanced view when it comes to tattoos and Christians. Whatever...at least I've got a tattoo for example and actually contributed to this thread. If you've got an issue with me posting this, take it to PM. Otherwise, I'll continue to post post's like the one you parodied and go about merrily...

I wanna get plugs. Small ones, though... Getting your ears pierced is so expensive! I'll do it eventually... Although, I'm not sure if my holes are 100% closed up. But I haven't worn earings in like 10yrs... Would they be closed up by now?

Oops. I guess there's more to this thread than what I just posted.

I feel really bad about the parody. Dang, that didn't last long.

Thanks. Done. Funny, I proof read it and it looked OK. I remade the link and it worked. Still looked exactly the same.

Accredit whatever you want buddy....I've been through a lot of surgery. I have also had very extensive conversations with doctors about how certain surgeries would and should be performed. I have had lengthy conversations with anethesiologists about how to perform certain methods. I have been complimented by plenty of doctors on my suturing ability. I have also been referred by doctors for almost a decade in my professional as a body piercer/tattoo artist. I have tattooed and pierced many medical professionals. I have saved people thousands of dollars in hospital bills that have asked for my help instead of having a late night ER nurse peform a shitty suture job. Maybe that helps a bit before you judge someone you don't know??? I'm not sure.

Just out of curiosity, what do you do?

There is a fantastic joke that I've seen floating around in the past couple years, and it goes like this...
Q: "What's the difference between people with tattoos, and the people without tattoos?"
A: "The people with tattoos could give a shit less if someone is tattooed or not."

I don't care if you like tattoos or not, but it is becoming a fine art so keep your comments about "Messing up your canvas" to yourself.

I don't know shit about you, so I would keep derogatory non-unicycle opinions out of this. There is a huge generation gap on this website and it makes it very hard to keep opinions kind sometimes. To clear up any confusion, tattoos and piercings and other mods are not just for stupid young kids. I am a 30 year old single dad that makes as much per hour as most attorneys. I tattoo and pierce anyone from a broke 18 year old kid looking for some in stant gratification to people who make several hundred thousand dollars per year that are looking for my personal artwork to be put on them for the rest of their life.

That is one hell of an honor to have.

For example: The other day I tattooed a guy who was getting a portrait of his late grandfather. His mother was in with him and she hated the idea of tattooing. She just wanted to be tthere for her son while he got the work done. She eventually saw the finished portrait of her father on her son, and broke down in tears. She was so thrilled with the quality of the tattoo that she totally changed her mind about the idea of tattooing. It's an amazing feeling to change someone's life so drastically when accorrding to you I am just "messing up someone's canvas."

Care to share any of your stories with us now?

Actually this is Just Conversation so swing away! But in a different thread.

Yuck. Disgusting.

Uh, so in other words "Yes, you do it for attention." Or were you trying to say something else?

You're right. Sorry. My mistake, but still a little immature maybe? You seem well respected here and thats fine with me, but it's still a little ridiculous to put so much time and effort into mocking someones post. Especially at your age.

I really don't care if you feel bad or not. I really don't. I'm not asking you to nor do I honestly care about what you believe or don't. Seriously, but I believe some respect should be given just because I'm another human being. I may not be a great rider by far, but C'mon man, shouldn't you know this by now?

No. I didn't have any idea you weren't a great rider. Nor did I know you were going to be sensitive when ribbed a bit. I apologize. I'll back off. I'm old and tired.

I have tatoos and am planning on getting more.

I have this idea of having the things that are important to me in my life tatooed on my body (like juggling etc). Kind of my life story. So that when I'm really old and can't even remember my name, they will still be there on my body.

And who cares what they look like when I'm 70, nothing much is going to look good by then anyway.
