GIBSON: Big politics now, does Barack Obama's wife have something to worry about? There is a beautiful young singer out there who has a major crush on the married Democratic presidential candidate, and she wants the world to know about it. She likes him so much, she's made a music video tribute to him, take a listen.

That is the best, isn't it? That sexy video is getting loads of hits on Youtube and other websites. Obama's campaign reportedly said we had nothing to do with this. We called them for a statement and they declined comment. The woman who starred in the tribute wasn't actually the singer. She was actress and model Amber Lee Ettinger and she is with us now along with the real singer and songwriter, 21-year-old Leah Kauffman, a student at Temple University in Philadelphia, co-songwriter Ben Relles and music collaborator and producer Rick Friedrich. So Leah, first of all, I have to ask you, you and Rick wrote this song together, right?

LEAH KAUFFMAN: Yes, co-wrote.

GIBSON: So are you hot for Obama?

KAUFFMAN: A little. Just a tad. We think he's really attractive and honest and I don't know, we like him.

GBIBSON: And that's where this song came from, was a genuine like for Obama?

KAUFFMAN: Yeah, definitely. We just thought it would be funny, too.

GIBSON: It is funny. Rick, good job. Where does this idea come from?

RICK FRIEDRICH, "CRUSH" MUSIC COLLABORATOR: This idea comes from a collaboration between all of us, really, you know. It's -- three of us came together and it's kind of a silly scenario. You know you have the obsessive girl and the attractive political candidate. And, you know, it's kind of a recipe for success, huh?

GIBSON: All right, well Rick and Leah produced the song, Ben produced the video. This is not a bad little video, Ben.

BEN RELLES, CO-WROTE "CRUSH ON OBAMA": Yeah, thanks. It actually was shot by two other people, Larry Strong and Kevin Albrough, but I actually came up with the idea with Rick and Leah in January. I basically called Leah and said what do you think about doing a Barack video. We all kind of liked it. She was in London at the time. So we shot the video in May, we put it up yesterday at about 10:00 a.m. we started getting some hits around noon. And then yeah, it kind of took off..

GIBSON: Amber, this is the hottest video out there. You star in what everybody says is the hottest video out there right now.

KAUFFMAN: Yes, thank you.

GIBSON: Are you thrilled about it?

KAUFFMAN: I'm so excited. I knew this was going to be a fun project and I heard the song. I was like that is catchy. I definitely want to do it.

GIBSON: Ok, now, you are singing over and over and over that you've got a crush on Obama. A real hard crush on Obama. Do you?

KAUFFMAN: Well, if I didn't before, I definitely do now. So --

GIBSON: You like him? Like him as a political candidate or the subject of a music video?

KAUFFMAN: Both.

GIBSON: Would you date him if he were not married?

KAUFFMAN: No.

GIBSON: Not that much?

KAUFFMAN: I'm not even going to answer that. It doesn't matter.

GIBSON: All right well take a look at this question we'll put on the screen here, The "Obama Crush" a smash. Should this be to him embarrassing or flattering?

KAUFFMAN: Flattering.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Absolutely.

GIBSON: Rick, flattering?

FRIEDRICH: Humorous.

GIBSON: It is humorous. Now why is it, do you suppose, Leah, that the Obama camp hasn't rushed out and said this is great, we want to hook up with this?

KAUFFMAN: I don't know. I don't know yet.

GIBSON: Do you think maybe they're just a little embarrassed?

KAUFFMAN: No, I think they're too flattered.

FRIEDRICH: That's a good point.

KAUFFMAN: They're too flattered to contact us, actually. They will.

FRIEDRICH: They're too busy singing the song.

KAUFFMAN: Exactly.

GIBSON: So Ben, where -- this is a hit on Youtube. So how does it get to be more of a hit?

BEN RELLES: Well, we have a website, barelypolitical.com. Our motto is bare and balanced. Basically everything on the website is going to be election, humor, politics, humor, and yeah, that's kind of where we're headed with it. I think Leah and Rick are getting back in the studio, potentially doing another song. Amber is on board, so we're going to see how far we can go.

GIBSON: Well you know there is a theory going around that anything that might be embarrassing to Obama might probably comes from one of his political opponents.

RELLES: Interesting.

GIBSON: So, do we have any Hillary Clinton supporters there? Leah?

KAUFFMAN: We just have crushes on Obama, that's all. That's what this is really about.

GIBSON: Not Hillary?

KAUFFMAN: No, she is all right.

FRIEDRICH: I have read some odd theories on Youtube. Yeah, it's kind of like they all know exactly what we were doing and stuff that we didn't even realize we were doing.

GIBSON: Come on, Rick, admit it, did the Clinton campaign put you up to this?

RELLES: Don't say anything, Rick, don't say anything.

GIBSON: Come on Rick, talk? RELLES: I swore I wouldn't. GIBSON: You're sworn to silence? So Amber, now that you're a giant hit on the -- on Youtube and out in the video world, it's -- doing what you're doing there, do you want to meet him?

AMBER ETTINGER: Absolutely. We all want to meet him.

GIBSON: Well you're the one that's issuing the invitation. Do you expect to hear from him?

ETTINGER: I hope so.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE: John Bolton was a close second.

ETTINGER: Yes, exactly. UNIDENTIFIED MALE: They just met John Bolton and ---- GIBSON: Well that is a good one, but I think it would be a little rude of Mr. Obama to not get in touch, since you sing so well. Leah, great job. NEW YORK: Amber Lee Ettinger has a crush on

Obama. Yep, "Obamagirl" is enamoured with US senator Barack Obama.

"Hey, `B,' it's me," Ettinger proclaims in a new video.

"I Got a Crush ... on Obama" by Amber Lee Ettinger is burning up the views on YouTube and it's just a tad racy.

It's a product of Ettinger and a brand new website, barelypolitical.com. The song is performed by Leah Kauffman.

The song and video allegedly took the Obama campaign by surprise and shows the ever-changing landscape of the democratic nature of the politics. It demonstrates how the internet -- specifically video on sites such as YouTube -- is affecting modern day campaigning.

In the video, Ettinger can be seen practising pole-dancing moves on the subway (fully clothed, mind you), but also roughing up her bikini-clad body next to shirtless photos of Senator Obama in his trunks from his Hawaii vacation last year.

"Baby, I cannot wait/till 2008/Baby, you're the best candidate," Ombamagirl coos as

she walks around New York City in various stages of undress, occasionally posing near life-size pictures of the lanky senator from Illinois.

An Obama campaign official said that its team had nothing to do with the video but otherwise declined to comment.

"What is really interesting is that Kauffman and co-author Ben Relles so easily manipulated the media," an official said.

"This video was not made simply for fun. This video is strictly about getting that 15 minutes of fame. And guess what, it worked."
