Poll:Who wants Hazmat to quit replying to theads that are years old?
I've clicked on several threads now, read a number of replies before realizing that the thread was from 2005 or before. I find this irritating since the replies are often irrelevent, and sometimes you you want to reply to a post but realize the person has long since left the board.
What do y'all think?

I like old threads. They bring in a breeze of graveyard air into these stale forums. I sometimes revive some myself.
You don't have to read them if you don't want to.

...but you don't see the date until after you open the thread, and I usually don't think to check until it starts looking fishy.

You know what that is? Its the date when this thread was made by you. In each thread, it says it right on the top left corner of every post. Its also the very first thing I look at as I open a thread. You should try it sometimes. What I dont like, are threads that single out one person because you have a slight problem about them. Grow up. |

Also, I think bringing up old threads can sometimes be relevent...but sometimes it seems as though people dig up old threads just to mess with people, like when they do it to a whole bunch at once. I don't appreciate that.

I like it, old threads are just as interesting as new ones, especially when they have the bizarre ramblings of Gluteous Maximus in them.

For those who still don't get why I'm complaining, here's 10 threads from 2005 that he's chosen to resurrect TODAY.
