Fall of civilization has been found to be linked to heterosexual marriages.

It's true. Everything's gone downhill since hets started to marry.

They're introducing a bill to outlaw straight marriage.

What's your opinion?

HEY! good idea, lets outlaw somthing thats been around for a long ass time. i got it RELIGION. actually im serious as a heart attack, the world would be better w/o these 2 things

They are outlawing it? Or removing the outdated laws that require marriage licenses?

Keep in mind that a marriage license is needed to intermarry. In other words, a license for a former slave to marry a sovereign person. Why would any free person need a license to form a lifelong contract with another person? Only privileged persons needed such license.

well... if people actually followed their religions and were peacefull, loving and forgiving, the world would be awesome! people turn their religions around and use them to hate. therefore, if there was religion in this world we would be doing a whole lot better.

ever see that South Park? I hate the show, but i agree with that. the show basically goes that one of them goes into the future, and then they see all the athiests having a war over what to call themselves.

I told her that if I get married, I would probably get a common law marriage.

So, barring any international treaty that prevents such act, the State may make no law impairing obligations of contract. Unfortunately, treaties are one of the many loopholes in our constitution that basically give congress power to do anything.
