The fact they drink Corona in the first place is a bigger problem than running out of limes.

I switched my water consumption habits at work by using an aluminum water bottle. I used to drink about 5 cans of Talking Rain carbonated water each day at work. Now I just refill my water bottle from the big filtered water dispenser...net savings of 25-30 aluminum cans per week.

We've gone to a solar powered clothing dryer (old fashioned summertime clothes line).

Also, trying not to spew so much hot air about global warming.

The Earth couldn't have possibly been changing temperatures since its creation.Could it? I mean thats not even a remote possibility.

I'm becoming more and more uncomfortable. Just my sacrifice to reduce global warming. My gift to you, Bruce, so that you may drive that monster truck of yours to WalMart to buy satellite dishes for your birds from Billy.

Carbonate it yourself... it's cheap and easy!

That depends on whether you believe in creation or not. Because if you believe in creation you are less likely to believe that the Earth's temperature can change. If you believe in some bits and pieces of the fossil record, it suggests things like ice ages. Geology suggests periods when deserts were seas, volcanoes were much more active, etc. To think that all of this happened without any average temperature change for the planet would be a bit naive...

"His" book. Genesis. Why call something a day, for the peoples of Earth 2000 years ago, when you really meant a geological epoch? You can't have it both ways. The book is either infallible or it's fallible.

They are planning a new runway at Heathrow, which will allow an additional 270 000 flights a year. Each jet engine on each of those flights will use more fuel in one flight than my car uses in a year.

So I find it hard to get excited about throwing away my perfectly good lighbulbs to landfill and buying new ones that waste less energy.

On a more positive note...

My car has a display that monitors the average fuel consumption. We recently had a petrol tanker drivers' strike, so it was hard to get fuel. Alos, fuel has now gone up by about 20% - 30% in the space of a few weeks. By driving with extra care, I have increased my average mpg from around 39 to just over 44.

I own a forest, so I have to drive everywhere to be carbon neutral.
