My Worst Christmas Car Smash.

Thought I would put my thoughts to all of you of my worst December 2006 at Christmas Time. Last year I was invovled a car accident. (The second one in Three years) And it came at the worst time for me as I do volunteer work for the Salvation Army here at Toronto NSW Australia. So I hadn't had a car for about a Month. I only just got it back on the 24th January 2007 and it still drives like new. I ran up at the back end of a Toyota Corolla on the main road doing about 30Km/h. I drove home until it has taken down to the local smash repairers not far where I lived at Toronto. So Far for this year is now looking good for me as I slowly recover from my loses and able to do more paid work.
Feel free to make comments and thank you for your thoughts.
Oh by the way here is the Photo of that Accident. I'll Post another one later.

David.

well its better like that isnt it? i imagine you get better downforce on the front wheels which will help you with cornering.

it probably will, but it won't help if you can't see the corner.

that sucks, do you know how much it will cost to repair?

I was driving in a straight line when someone pulled up suddenly two cars up front of me. But I do agree with you...yeah.

I'm going to punch you in about three seconds. Consider this your fair warning.

Christmas 2005 we were coming back from some friend's house and hit a deer. Smashed the front all up. It looked worse then your car in the picture... Although the damage was mostly just the hood and bumper....

So far I've only squashed a fox that decided to cross the road straight in front of me. When driving to the park for my first night ride I had to do an emergency-stop for some deer that again crossed the road without looking.

Humans are supposed to be the top of the intelligence list, but what happened last night put me in doubt of that. A car coming the other way turned off into a side-road, but for some reason they decided not to look out for oncoming traffic first, and I was the oncoming traffic. Only my most violent emergency-stop saved me from metal on metal contact, with only a couple of feet to spare. The first time I've had to toot the horn.

Even the best, most careful drivers can be helplessly involved in a crash if someone else seems to decide that they want to.
