big snow storm

Well, the snowstorm that has been beating down on us for the past couple days seems to have let up. We have around 30"-35" with drifts that are closer to 5 feet. There was too much snow on our driveway to use our snowblower so we had to use shovels which took a few hours. But we built an awesome snow castle!

Right before the storm hit my brother and i built up an incredibly fun snow/mud/sand bike as a christmas present to ourselves, with the Surly Pugsely frame, Endomorph 3.7 tires on 26in rims. It absolutley FLOATS on top of snow. It is incredibly fun to bomb down hills on.

So did anyone else in the northwest get dumped on by this storm?

We have practically zero snow. It's cold, single digit temp. F, but the storm missed us. I can't believe it.

hahaha.
as soon as we can get to the store to devlop the pics i will post them!
(we are cool and dont have a digital camera.. my brother and i spend all our money on bikes and unis)

falling in this much snow doesnt even hurt, it is just fun.
i dont even know how many times i went over the handlebars cause i wasnt leaning back enough haha.

the only bummer is that i cant get up to the mountains to shred it on a snowboard!
if only the mountains were 20 miles closer and minus the highway i would attempt to take my snowmobiles up there.

Aaaaaaah you're making me jealus! The only snow we have is frozen solid and might as well be ice.... It's fun riding bikes/uni's down short steep hills and the like. And snowskating. I want to snowskate too...

They have snow on the ski mountain though, I'm going snowboarding sometime next month...

I only get to ski/snowboard 5-6 times in a year.

Haha, my turn: I got a slightly used World Industries snowskate and a Premier snowskate for 50 cents each at a used store.
