Anyone remember this welding car toy?

A long long long time ago in a house not so far but a 15 minute Uni ride away, I had this toy...

It was a plastic car, just like a frame of it, and you welded body panels and such to it with special Electric electrode type things that I believe were black in colour. The cars were a few different colours, but the one colour I remember that stood out in my memory is a flourescent green colour. The car I remember was a Jeep I believe... I used to play with this toy all the time, and it has been inspiring to me about wanting to be a welder ever since I knew what welding was.

The whole point of the toy was to build these cars and smash them up with your friends to see who could build it better.

Being 17 and all, I would still love to get my hands on this toy, or maybe get it for my little nephew for Christmas.

It would be great if anyone remembers this, or possibly has one and could take pictures for me.

I think spudman had one long ago, the "welding" was really just a spinning type of bit that made a lot of friction and melted the plastic, iirc

I sure don't remember the name of it though.
