Each time my husband spends money to add to his favorite collection, I try to spend equally to add to our unicycle collection. Marriages are supposed to be equal, right?

I broke the axle jumping 6 inches on the flat. I need a stronger one. (That was upgrading the hub on my muni).

I broke the axle jumping 6 inches on the flat. I need a stronger one. (That was justifying buying a $500 trials instead of a $200 trials )

you will end up saving money by buying a strong but more expensive unicycle now than a cheap one and then another one when it breaks.

I don't need to buy any unicycles. Once I have accepted that, I can go and buy as many unicycles as I want.

That works great if your husband collects cars...

...But I guess then you might fight over garage space.

My wife doesn't collect anything. Except Santa Clauses (major interior decorating every December). Those don't add up as fast...

I like that. Having versus being.
------------------------------------
If you have an extra wheelset/frame/seat/seatpost, it's just being wasted unless you build the rest of a unicycle around it.

it sucks riding a 20" freestyle to class, so I bought a 24" muni (well, I muni with it too).

How about "There's an empty hook on the garage ceiling!"

... I'm not buying it either.

...But I've got plenty more hooks waiting to be put up!

I could be as good as him, if i had the same uni as him!

or

19" trials is too small to go anywhere but 24" is too big to do trials... so i need both...
