rim questions

I was wondering, will a 24" by 2.5" maxxis hookworm fit on a 47mm wide rim?

1. because its light

2. because it's wide

3. because it looks cool

4. because I can get a koxx one muni wheelset that comes with it and that's cheper than getting a koxx hub and cranks laced to a KH rim.
