I really like it; the layout and library sorting categories are nicely visualized. The only thing is that it is almost to powerful for our computer so it is slow.

WMP 11 is weird. The way it displays lists is not very efficient. I do not need pictures, and I need to be able to pick my columns. It's pretty cool though theres an equalizer and speed controls and other gadgets. Hopefully MS will restore all of the old WMP 10 functionality as far as layout is concerned (this is a beta).

We Mac users only get Media Player 9. And still lots of stuff won't play unless I do my own detective work to figure out what codecs I'm missing and where to find them. A better media player might be able to tell me or offer me a link to something other than a generic page of codecs...

I havent liked windows medai player, its ok, but I use RealPlayer, it plays ever video format I have ever tried, and I have the DivX codec, so it can play those.

Ill try version 11 soon, but ill go back to RealPlayer.

I used to use Winamp... but AudioScrobbler has converted me into an iTunes user.

Real player is the worst media player I have ever tried. My WMP plays everything as well, and I don't have to go snooping for codecs like FOSS.
