Everyone had a great time, I'm sure photos will be posted, and a big thank you to Raphael and the crew who helped put this great day together, as well as all the participants, who made it fun, and helped save a piece of the world. Very cool! Billy

There was some rain, but it didn't prevent anyone from having a great time. I managed to take a few pictures.
There were 15 riders in all. We had our youngest rider finish this year. 9 year old Daniel. (He is at the far left in the first picture above). Bear is as cool as you've all been lead to believe. The Sprouls are the best. I have two items that were left behind. Identify them and PM your address and I will return them.

There are extra t-shirts from this year's LBI Unithon available. If you'd like one for $17 (including shipping) email Roe Sprouls at 'rsprouls at yahoo dot com'.

Thanks to Raphael and the Sprouls for making this tour happen! It was great. The route was safe and smooth, quality refreshments were ready at frequent stops, the police were ready for us and helpful at the busy intersections, the pizza and salad were great!!
The T shirts are super, you all should really order one! Was a thrill to meet so many great people and riders. I wish I could have spent more time talking to every one there. Bear had a fantastic time, too. The whole ride home I heard: Can we stop now and ride unicycles for a while. Billy: He said he tried "climbing you" because you were a mountain. I saw him trying to get on your shoulders. I'll be out next year if at all possible!

This ride had it all: a great cause to ride for, a silky smooth 19 miles, a 10 mph wind pushing us the whole way*, and of course, an excellent sampling of the northeast's finest people to ride with. Great to meet and re-meet you all!
Thanks to Bridget (sp?) and her family, Raphael, of course, and Chris who drove me N to S to the start, and all the great volunteers who made the ride so sweet. * - except for unipsychler's 19 miles upwind epic prior to the race - he looked at me with eyes that had seen the darkest gates of hell and said, most convincingly, "It was really hard." * - also, except for shadowuni, who, having arrived late, rode his coker with its 114mm cranks faster than the wind to catch the front pack of cyclists Until the next one...
