The world of the history, part 1

First thing this morning on BBC radio, drummer, Rat Scabies, of The Damned talking earnestly about the search for the Holy Grail, and conflicting opinions as to whether it is a phsyical object or a spiritual goal... He has written a book on the subject. He was amusingly self-deprecating about his Rat Scabies alter ego, and generally came across as a good natured fairly normal 40 something middle aged bloke.

What next? Johnny Rotten on reality TV? Oh, it's been done. Jagger getting a knighthood? Done. Geldof? Done. Good lord, they'll have Brian May playing on the roof of the palace next.

Would this thread get more visitors and responses if it were correctly named?

Do we have to respond to everthing in this thread with another question?

Did you just jack this thread off topic, girl?

The thread was deliberately named that way. If I need to explain why, then explaining won't help. The reason it didn't get many responses was it isn't a very inspiring subject. I posted it in a rash moment of middle aged angst. Most of the readers won't have even heard of most of the people mentioned.

Forge tit.

Take my hand, disco man, are you just a one night stand? Have some fun, jump the gun, but what's left when it's all done?

Reminds me of something I heard an elementary school teacher say. One of her young students saw her in the supermarket and said, "What are you doing here?" As if teachers aren't regular people -- who eat and have lives outside of the school building.

I've updated your post...

The things that people will do to entertain others... there is no limit, no shame... the Romans fed Christians to animals, now Christians watch animals sing and dance on reality TV... humanity has already seen the full spectrum of oddity and audacity, and now we're forced to watch the reruns...
