DVD authoring program

There is a 30 day free trial version of a DVD authoring program made by ulead available. You have to join to get it meaning you have to give them a valid e-mail address. It's a 67mb download and is a $400 package if you buy it. It comes with a readable, useful manual in .pdf form. It will take anything for input as far as I can tell. It was effortless to produce a playable DVD directly from a .MOV file from my digital camera. I didn't produce an additional soundtrack or a menu but these capabilities are present. I was just making a DVD of a greeting from a friend to someone who is in a nursing home.

Ulead produces some great software. I haven't heard about this DVD authoring program, but I love their Serv-U FTP client/server. I'll check this out.

Thanks

Wow, that's impressive that they offer a working demo. In the days before I bought Vegas Movie Studio which came with DVD Architect I was looking for a working demo but couldn't find anything. I found some that looked like they would work, but for each chapter in the movie I made, the audio cut out after 45 seconds.

Okay, Greg, what kinda kickback are you getting for the adverts... ulead giving you another car since I donated your last one to Gilby?

I'm getting frustrated, is that a kickback? I'm trying to use all of the fancy features with my ultra-low quality uni video clips. I don't know what I'm doing. I'm comfortable with that, though.
