Well, this is a slow thread this weekend.... I just finished up an 8-hour shift at REI that took up ost of the rest of my saturday. In about seven hours I'll be getting up to head to the mtn to ski, though, so it's all good.

Well, yesterday was the big scratch 'n dent sale at REI, so I worked that all day, then got to get out and ski this morning. Tomorow, my full-time employer observes New Year's day, so I have that off until an evening shift at REI. No Lazy Saturday Mornings for me!

I got a new coffee mug because my old one trapped water inside of the lil silver band around it and dripped out spontaniously in my lap. This one was from Starbucks and it's totally stainless steel except for the padded rubber handle and flip-top lid. What's nice is the whole body of it is one sheet of steel, not plates put together, thus preventing leaks almost totally. I got a deal on it, too - from $24.99 to $13.89! W00t! It's really sleek and cool, not cheap looking like the other Starbucks mugs that are like clear plastic over some ugly design. I'll post a pic tomorrow when I have coffee in the mornin.

Aright, I know it's not the weekend anymore, but it's still a holiday! So as the owner of this thread, I now open it up to discussion on all recognized day-off holidays. So here's my kewl new mug!

starbucks- the coffee nazis.
Sorry, i just don't really like them all that much. 4 to 5 bucks for a small cup of coffee is kind of rediculous. and they don't even call them small! They call them "Tall" for a small cup of coffee! Grande, vente? I don't even know what vente MEANS for petes sake. Is it to make you feel sophisticated so that you don't mind giving them $5 for a small whatever you're buying? I just go to the local shops for my hot drinks. Y'know? the ones that DON'T inflate the price 250%? sorry about the rant. I'm bored, and i don't like starbucks too much.

My family makes all our coffee from the packets(we usally don't go buy like starbucks and stuff.) The only coffee like substance I go buy is French Vanilla Capachino.

Samberg: Lazy Sunday, wake up in the late afternoon. Call up Parnell just to see how he's doin'.
Parnell: Hello? Samberg: 'Sup Parnz? Parnell: Yo Samberg, what's crackin'? Samberg: You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'? Both: NARNIA! Samberg: Then it's happ'nin'! An excerpt from "Lazy Sunday." It's a rap, check it out.
