Just occured to me how King George II (3rd, if you count the Regan years...) could prove to his constituants (subjects?) that he possesses the conviction of character he asks of the soldiers in his trust to possess: dedication of life to the reformation of Iraq into a western-styled democracy (in order that America gains a friend in place of a mortal enemy).
When his term is over, he could take up an active role and residencey in Iraq- as an expert political advisor/ambassador, operational stratagist, phylanthrapist, whatever. After all, he believes in the cause enough to ask our young to give the entirety of there lives and fortunes, health and wellbing to it. Does he? Will he put his ass on the line for his idiollogy? I'll ask him the next time we have lunch.
