I am trying to figure out if I should be pissed off or not
Someone walked into my office this morning and said, "Hey, I saw your video on ___________'s website." I said, "What are you talking about?" She said, "_________ has a video of you on his website doing a welcome at the fireworks show. Didn't you know that?" No, I didn't know that.
Here's the background. We do a big block party at our church. We cook burgers and stuff and have games and entertainment (The entertainment includes a unicycle show by some members of TCUC). We have only done it three times, but it grows each time. We had about 400 people at the last one, not counting church members. A guy who is not a member of the church, but known by me and a lot of other people here is trying to start a new ministry. It is basically a fireworks show with a Christian theme. He wanted to use our block party as a kind of test market. It sounded like a great way to attract more people, so I said sure. He asked me to do a welcome. Again I said sure. What I didn't know was that he was videotaping the whole thing and put it on his website. He never asked if he could do that. I don't really care all that much. It just seems he should have asked my permission, especially since I give my name and church name in the video. So, should I be pissed? And if so, how many bottle rockets should he take up the butt for doing this without my permission?

Jethro, not only should you be pissed off about this incident, but you should really be pissed off at Brian - a fellow unicyclist presumably who has your best interests in mind which may include the need to be pissed off - for his insensitivity to the fact that you may not have any control at how pissed off you may (or may not) be.

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one getting burned.

This whole discussion really pisses me off. One of the original AND most important questions wasn't answered which I will address now. As many bottle rockets as you have, Jethro.
