Skateboarder attempting to jump over Great Wall of China
31 year old skateboarder is attempting to jump over Great Wall of China. The jump is taking place tomorrow, Saturday 7/9/2005. Here is the link.

I just think about the guy on a bike who died trying to do it. It looks like Way has built the right kind of ramp to do the jump though and will probably land this one without the sure death that might be expected.

Maybe we'll be able to see the ramp from space.
 One on One, I'll bet you could jump the Great Wall on your coker. But if you decide to do it, create a blue web site. The red on that one hurts my eyes.

Click on the Videos Section of the Danny does China site and you'll see all 5 videos. He made it on the second jump and did it 3 more times.

I've heard of unicyclists riding ON the wall but not jumping over. I bet someone here has pictures of that.
I decided I wasn't getting up in the middle of the night to watch it live so I'm glad to see that Danny made the jump ok. I met him last summer at my cousin's wedding, he's a nice guy.

i actually met danny way a couple years ago when he was doing a demo at a skatepark in hawaii
i have a signed board from him

i dunno, with the on ramp and the off ramp both going to about the same height as the wall, why isn't this just advertised as 'Watch Danny gap 5.8 meters!'
