I'm finishing my Eagle this summer, but not going to camp because there's nothing to do there anymore (seven years of scout camp).

Im working on star rank. I've never been to a scout camp per-say but I've been on all the lame campouts. One of them was in january and the tents were buried in 2 1/2 feet of snow. I do lone scouting now. Its more something my parents want me to do than I want to do.

You should look into a trip to Philmont.

Congratulations on completing your Eagle.

Sounds like a good goal. Where is the World Jamboree?

I Scouted for 35 years and in my younger days, I spent 4 summers on staff at Philmont in the early 1970's. I can honestly say, Scouting and Philmont have been a big part of my life. I will be going back again next month as part of a Philmont Staff Association activity.

Have you thought about working at Philmont? Philmont staff in 2006 might pay for the World Jamboree in 2007.

I've almost got star...

I SHOULD have it but I missed a board of reviews. Our troop is incredibly disorganized. I more or less have it, just not board of reivews...

badness. Oh, I'm SPL now though!

100th anniversary of scouting in the U.K. in 2007.

I've thought about Philmonst staff and probably will do it when I turn 18 (sign your own insurance, thems the rules).

I was a life scout for a long time... got my eagle scout within a month of my 18th b-day.

Can anyone guess what "leadership position" I held for the majority of my scouting?
