Question Superbowl or stupidbowl?

I was raised on the 49ers during their prime. Back in the 80s I would drop everything when I saw Montana and Rice hooked up on the tube.

Since then some players have forgotten about the game and now follow the mighty dollar, hopping from team to team. Great legacies have come and go; seeing Rice in a Raiders jersey makes me want to cry. The NFL has lost me as a fan, a long time ago. I hope the same doesn't happen with the NHL!

Despite the millions of Americans celebrating the stupidbowl with such festivity, I'm saying "screw 'em all, I'm going for a ride" I need to work on my pedalgrabs

You?

I don't like football, so it's the stupidbowl for me.

I plan on watching only 10 minutes of the game, the first 5 and the last 5. My favorite part has always been the commercials.

I alsotook my dog for a run this morning, but it's such a nice day, I'm thinking about going a couple miles, if he can do it.

No, No, NO.

It is the Stupor Brawl!

I'm not a big fan of American football. The last Sea-Duck game I went to was when I had free tickets and I wanted to check out the new stadium.

Never-the-less, it's the final game and a great excuse to get together for beer and munchies. Watch commercials and the half-time show. And hope the game is entertaining too.

Besides, its raining, too wet to ride.

It is not the Superbowl it is the BCM. Best Commercial Marathon. I like the commercials and I am going to do my science project while the actual game is going on.

Go BCM

it's all about the grey cup, thats the canadian football league if anyone was wondering. But the only reason I really watch the superbowl is for betting and gambling on how the games is going to end

Put your Gore-Tex on and hit it, man! When travelling through Eugene once (my hometown, thank you!) I saw a lady in yellow rain slicks, head to toe, carrying her groceries on a 26er in a downpour.

You can skip the first half, and make it back in time to watch the first half highilghts on the halftime show! C'mon!

Its still the superbowl. Moreso this year than any before, since the Eagles are in it.

I would watch it even if they weren't in it though.

Also, I think you may be mad because the 9er's are the worst team in the league, and Jerry Rice is now wearing a SEAHAWKS jersey.

For shame...that's not what the rest of the gang said this morning. Unirene, Iunicycle, Unisk8tr, john_childs, and I did a lovely 13-mile ride around Mercer Island in a steady rain. Traffic was much lighter than usual, perhaps because of pre-Superbowl cocooning. Anyway, not having to worry about traffic, we were able to devote our extra energy to scathing verbal attacks on the members who were too sick or weak or lame to come out and ride with us.

Your name was mentioned...in the third category I believe, since you don't have a doctor's note like G3orge does.
