I officially ordered a Nimbus X!

Well, I did it! I ordered a 20" Nimbus X Freestyle! It should be here by next Monday or by Friday. I ordered from unicycle.com, and I was wondering if anybody has had any experience on how long it might take to get to Washington? Anybody who has a Nimbus X, could you please post some pictures on here so I could see what it looks like! Thanks! I'll post pics right when I get it!

Mine took about a week and a half. Of course Spokane is slightly closer to Georgia than Port Orchard. I am thrilled that someone actually listened to my advice. Enjoy your new unicycle!

Niiice, I think you'll have fun with that uni.

In my experience, it'll take about 4-5 days for unicycle.com to ship the wrong item, then 4-5 days to send it back to Georgia, then 4-5 more days for unicycle.com to send the right product. But apparently unicycle.com tends to send it correctly to most people, just not to where I live, so it'll probably only take about 4-5 days.

It usually takes a week and a half to get here. SO don't be supprised if it takes up to ten full days or more.

Didn't you just get a giraffe? Must be nice to have money.

The giraffe was only $100. The thing I like about unis is that it is about the cheapest hobby you can have. When you consider golf can be at least a $100 day after green fees, drinks, food, gas, etc. the uni seems almost like an investment.

Re: I officially ordered a Nimbus X!

I think you made a great choice. That uni should last a long time if you take care of it and know it's limits. If you are going to use it entirely for freestyle, you want to think about getting a new frame with a lower profile then the Nimbus frame. You may also what to swap out the KH saddle with one with a lower profile (like the Miyata). If you do that, you have some quality spare parts which could be used to build up another uni.

That's pretty good for the first year.

Yep. Coming up on 1 year for me. The whole think still is amazing to me. I mean, riding a uni just looks impossible.

It's been good fun.
