I would just like to inform everyone that about 2 minutes ago I was informed that George Bush has won the election. That stinks. Bad. Real bad.

I've got root beer and ice cream in the fridge for when President Bush gives his acceptance speech. Woot!
Mmmmm... Celebratory root beer float.

bush has 269 electoral votes right now. even if kerry won every other swing state, it would put him at 269, which would take it to the senate. the majority of the senate is republican so they would elect bush. so basically no matter what, bush wins

basically its resting on that one county, and the only way kerry could get it is if he had like 80%of the people in that county vote for him. its highly unlikely, but possible none the less

As goes Ohio, so goes the nation.

Bush hasn't won yet, but he will. At best it'll be a tie, in which it'll go to the house of reps, which is republican, which means it's gonna go to bush. There's gonna be tons of lawsuits over this, though. This is gonna be a bigger fiasco than Floridia. I hope at least that this time the noble citizens brave enough to raise protest can have a senator or two to support their protests, otherwise the same thing will happen as in 2000. It's possible that there's won't be an official decision for a few months, although it's more likely it'll take around a few weeks. Even if Bush loses, though, he's gonna be able to send American and its people into lot of crap as a lame duck. |

![]() I'll have to run out to the store and get some. For all my promotion of Guinness and other fine beers, I don't drink a lot of beer and I don't always keep beer on hand at home.

A brave new world of religious fundementalism, corporate welfare, spiralling debt, drilling and logging of pristine wilderness areas, more people to die in Iraq (which didn't do 911) and a nice draft for all you guys of age to fight in some other country which didn't do 911.
Only this time, there are no re-election worries to temper Bush/Cheney's actions. Now they can REALLY do whatever they want. Woot? Why do you like Bush again?

why would we need a draft in the first place?? our military is 100% volenteer. there is no need for a draft. kerry just brought that up as a scare tactic against people voting for bush.

Bush really has won now. Kerry has just conceded and will address the nation soon.
