I think the majority of the population have lost all faith in politicians, no matter what the party, after the expenses scandal.

There was a big thing about MPs claiming expenses on ridiculous things.
One guy claimed expenses on the upkeep of his moat.
Another claimed expenses for building a house for his ducks in the middle of his duck pond.
The majority of MPs claim expenses and get money for second houses.

Wow, and after all that they still get to make decisions. And when someone is not happy with the decisions they're told: write to your MP! Hmmm, I keep wondering whether our society is really going in a downwards spiral of degradation or if it just looks like that to me because I don't know any history.

While we're on the subject of politics, I really like the campaign posters that they have here in Czech Republic. There isn't a low against one part making billboards about the other, so you see all these ridiculous parodies. The latest one is a big picture of the leader of the Republican party, with sky and clouds in the background, with a wide smile on his face(allegedly he never smiles in real life) and with a slows that says, rough translation: "we'll abolish getting up early in the morning".

It's institutionalised corruption and has been going on for hundreds of years.
It would be nice to get rid of the lot of them and start with a clean slate, but that's never going to happen.

I'd vote for Kit though.
