Unfortunately the technology didn't work and the dots became flattened and smooth very quickly with normal handling.
There was a suggestion to retain them despite this failure, to help the deaf.

I know Bear IRL, we see each other when I go to the CFM (he's often there, you would know if you came sometimes, Thieum).
He offered me one of the best beer in my life after the trial competion in Unicon 13 (in Switzerland). The weather was really hot and I had lost 20 liters of sweat.
He's a great guy.
