Greg's Carkeek Park ride in Seattle

I went on a trail ride with my wife, Karen, and Buster, the goofiest looking dog on earth. This is in Carkeek Park in Seattle, about a ten minute MUni ride from my house. The trail is very developed in most places but very steep in some. The skinnies along the side were too wet and slippery to try today. The SH MUni got pretty muddy today but it's all aluminum and stainless so I just hose it off when I'm done and forget it.

The photos are primarily for the local boys to look at to see if they want to go for a ride in this park. It's a pretty place with lots of trails, railroad tie stairs, off trail logs, and access to the beach.

4 out of 5 little girls servayed at my house prefered those pics to watching David Hassleholf strutting around in a thong; Lewis was the only voice of decent- he has yet to explain himself.

Hey, is that an off leash area? Where's your leash?

Looks like fun, Andrea and I would be game for a tour on a dryer day.

Do Karen and Buster always dress in yellow?

Buster always dresses in yellow and he always views Carkeek Park as an off-leash area. Animal Control disagrees with him but he's tough to catch. Karen has a firm grip on my leash and it's out of the frames of the pictures here.

Lewis still thinks that I starred in "Bay Watch." Please don't stomp on his fantasies. Did Sophie like her tree frogs?

That looks like a fine place to muni. It doesn't have to be Tiger Mountain for me to have fun. Is there a coffee shop near the trail? Post ride coffee is almost as good as post ride beer.

I make outstanding coffee at home. There are six excellent restaurants within MUning distance of the trailhead. There are also two taverns with imports and microbrews. And, if that were not enough, nude male dancers right up the street.
