The CPUniCycles Folding@Home team has been going for about three weeks now, and we're racking up units at a fair old rate with a total of 70 work units done so far.
You can tell the students who leave their computers on all the time, clocking up many units. However everyone is doing their bit nicely. As I write this, the overall ranking of the team is 1,737th, and rising rapidly. Let's see how high we can get... ![]() Congratulations to everyone contributing, and to Unisteve for the great idea! http://folding.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/teampage?q=13392 Phil |

Unisteve suggested a unicyclist team a while back; people joined; the rest is history, as they say. Phil Last edited by phil; 2003-02-03 at 11:43 PM. |

My comp isnt't that good either. My bro is running a dual-CPU P2 266. He's got two of the programs running, one on each CPU. You can't run two of the newer graphical programs though. If you want to do this and have two prcessors, I can get David the computer-fiend to tell me more and I'll post it.
My computer er, well my other brother's comp which I took over... is a Pentium Pro (better than P2 but made earlier, has more cache but is more expensive to build for Intel... so was discontinued...) 233 mhz with 256 MB of RAM. One screamin' machine. It's almost as fast as DAvid's comp cuz it has twice the RAM. Thank you all very much for joining! I have sent in two work units but only one was recognized for CPUniCycles... I am more than half done another work unit! I think I've got 250 out of 400 frames done.... OH yes... We're gonna beat that Google Team... UNICYCLISTS UNITE!

We're at 1719! (For ranking.) I'm so happy. We're gonna cure diseases and promote unicycling all in one fell swoop! Hahahhhahhhaha.
